Hello, my name is Francesco (Frank for short) Casilio. I was born on October 21, 1973 (I share the same birthday as my father) in Rochester, New York, which is a medium size city on Lake Ontario between Syracuse and Buffalo. Rochester is the home (and founding place) of Kodak, Xerox, and Bausch & Lamb. It was also the home of Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglas.

My parents immigrated to the United States in the mid-1900's, which makes me a first-generation citizen. I've got many Aunts and Uncles some of whom are still living in Italy. As for my immediate family...my brother (Mark) and his wife (Lisa) live in Hilton, NY (along with their son Michael). They both work for Eastman Kodak Company. My sister (Debbie) has completed her studies at the University of Rochester. She is working for the Baldwinsville, NY school district..

Oh, Yeah about myself...I work for Advanced Micro Devices as a Development Engineer. As for my education, I received my Masters degree in Computer Engineering at RIT in August of 1998. I received my Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering in May of 1996. You can check out my Masters thesis here.

I am also married to a beautiful girl named Sarah (Maciuska).  Our anniversary is August 2nd, 2003.  Please visit our wedding page to see pictures.

Sarah and I have 1 son as of February 2nd, 2007. His name is Francesco Leonello Casilio, and he is the joy of our lives.

Living in Austin, Texas means you get to enjoy the outdoors almost all year long. Its nice to be able to be outside in January and February. I enjoy playing Soccer, Racquetball, Tennis, Disc Golf, and Hiking.
